Quakers arrive in Philadelphia—video

The ancestors of Edna Buckman Kearns arrived in the Philadelphia area in 1682 with William Penn who envisioned the city as a “Holy Experiment” expressing Quaker principles and values. The Buckman family was the largest family group on the ship Welcome.
